About the Department
The Finance and Corporate Services function manages the financial and administrative needs of the Group to help achieve its business goals.
Job Responsibilities
Strategic Planning and Financial Management
• Drive cost optimization initiatives, strengthen governance processes, and evaluate return on investment for major projects.
• Lead the strategic planning exercise for UOBV, aligning financial objectives with business priorities.
• Oversee cost pools, allocation methodologies, and cost drivers to ensure transparency and efficiency.
• Perform detailed profitability analysis, identify key drivers, and recommend actionable strategies to improve business performance.
• Maintain and monitor financial metrics within the Country Balanced Scorecard framework.
• Manage the end- to- end performance measurement process, ensuring MIS accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
• Conduct comprehensive financial analysis across Bank, Segment, Product, and Branch levels to support strategic decisions.
Stakeholder Management
• Act as a trusted Business Finance partner to key stakeholders across the Bank, providing insights and strategic recommendations.
• Prepare and deliver high- quality presentations and reports to internal and external stakeholders, including senior management and regulatory authorities.
Process Improvement
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance performance management processes, systems, and reporting capabilities.
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and implement best practices for efficiency and accuracy.
