PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION:
Spartronics Viet Nam is seeking a Training Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and improving a training management system across production and office departments. The role ensures employees meet job competency standards, customer requirements, and industry certifications (IPC, ISO, NADCAP). This position drives skill development, technical capability growth, onboarding training, and learning culture across the factory.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Training System & Strategy Development:
Develop annual training roadmap aligned with business, production demand, and audit requirements.
Standardize training processes: TNA → Training Plan → Execution → Evaluation → Reporting.
Implement digital training record tracking and competency matrix.
Build and manage a centralized training management system for all levels of employees.
Technical & Production Training Management:
Manage re- certification programs for operators, technicians & inspectors.
Work with Engineering/QA/Production to define skill certification for each workstation.
Oversee training for SMT, PCBA assembly, inspection, test, safety & compliance.
Ensure workmanship training meets IPC- A- 610 / J- STD- 001 requirements where applicable.
Training Needs Analysis (TNA):
Conduct TNA with department heads to identify skill gaps and capability requirements.
Prioritize training by risk, competency level, customer feedback & audit findings.
Translate TNA into a practical and measurable annual training plan.
Onboarding & Qualification:
Ensure operator qualification meets QMS, safety, and process readiness before line assignment.
Ensure complete documentation of training records for audits and regulatory compliance.
Build onboarding programs for new hires (office & production).
Internal Trainer Development:
Evaluate trainer performance and certification status.
Train- the- Trainer programs to ensure training quality and delivery consistency.
Identify internal trainers/SMEs and build internal instructor pipeline.
Audit & Compliance:
Support internal/external audits related to training competency, training logs, certification.
Maintain 100% documentation readiness for ISO/NADCAP/Customer Audit.
Prepare training performance dashboards and monthly reporting.
People Leadership:
Lead Training Specialists, Coordinators, and internal trainers.
Promote a learning culture: continuous improvement, knowledge- sharing, and skills growth.
Develop team capability, performance KPIs, and improvement goals.
