Job Overview
The Site Manager (“Manager”) will join Aspire’s growing Development Department and oversee the daily execution of construction activities for Aspire’s projects. You will ensure that all works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with project goals, timelines, and quality standards. Acting as the key liaison between Aspire’s internal development team and external contractors, you will drive construction excellence from groundworks to handover.
The Manager’s responsibilities span five key areas:
Site Supervision & Quality Assurance
Enforce best engineering practices and statutory requirements from piling to completion.
Liaise with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to resolve site issues promptly.
Conduct regular quality inspections, manage snag lists, and ensure all works meet Aspire’s design and finish standards.
Supervise all on- site construction activities to ensure compliance with approved plans, specifications, and schedules.
Maintain clear and accurate site records, inspection logs, and quality reports.
Safety & Compliance
Promote a proactive safety culture through toolbox talks and regular communication.
Enforce Aspire’s Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards and ensure full PPE compliance.
Conduct routine safety inspections and address non- conformities or risks immediately.
Report and document any safety incidents, near- misses, or corrective actions.
Construction Oversight & Coordination
Monitor progress against the construction schedule, identify delays, and coordinate timely resolutions.
Apply knowledge of Vietnamese building codes and relevant international standards to maintain compliance.
Review drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure feasibility and compliance.
Support the Project Director and Design Director in coordinating daily construction works.
Collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure smooth execution and alignment with project objectives.
Technical Support & Problem Solving
Identify and address clashes in drawings or installation works, implementing practical, quality- driven solutions.
Ensure proper integration of architectural, structural, and MEP systems to maintain design intent.
Provide on- site technical guidance to resolve design and coordination issues quickly.
Record technical issues and lessons learned to improve execution across future projects.
Handover Management
Lead snagging inspections, ensure timely defect rectification, and manage handover documentation (as- built drawings, O&M manuals, warranties).
Oversee material verification, installation, testing, and commissioning processes.
Support the Defect Liability Period (DLP) by tracking post- handover issues and coordinating resolutions.
Maintain complete records of materials, tests, and handover data for future reference and operations.
