Senior QA Engineer Automation Test, QA QC, Tester

The ideal candidate will be a senior- level professional responsible for software quality assurance and testing across all environments.

Upper- level Senior Test Strategy & Design: Analyze business requirements and actively engage with other teams to ensure a proper understanding of business requirements and to write highly accurate and comprehensive test cases.
Automation Framework Mastery (Selenium & Java Focus):
Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API applications.
Create and significantly enhance automation frameworks with an expert focus on Selenium, utilizing Java. Experience with other tools such as Cypress, Playwright, Appium, Postman, or Rest Assured is a strong plus.
Maintain and refactor automation scripts to align with product changes and feature updates.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
Comprehensive Testing: Provide senior- level manual testing support when required, ensuring thorough test coverage and quality across all features.
Defect Management & Reporting:
Update test execution status and thoroughly investigate software problems resulting from testing.
Write detailed and high- quality issue/bug reports.
Proactively highlight critical issue(s) to the Team Lead and Project Manager (PM) early.
Collaboration & Independence: Work independently, directly communicating with the manager, team, and client.

This role requires a senior- level, proven track record in all facets of quality assurance and automation.

Automation Expertise (Required): Good proficiency in the Selenium automation tool.
API Testing: Good experience with API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured).
DevOps & Tools: Extensive experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
Education: A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and working experience.
Performance Testing (Plus): Knowledge of performance or load testing tools (e.g., JMeter) is a plus.
Experience: 5+ years of direct, senior- level QA experience, including designing, implementing, and executing complex tests, as well as tracking and reporting results.
Programming Mastery (Required): Strong, demonstrated expertise in Java for scripting is essential. Knowledge of JavaScript, Python, or C is a plus.
Soft Skills:
Good interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written, especially in English.
Good time- management skills, a proven ability to multitask, meticulous attention to detail, and a fast learner.
