Senior / Project Engineer (BESS-MICROGRID )

System Integration: Assist in integrating microgrid systems with EVN (Vietnam Electricity) grids, focusing on grid synchronization, islanding modes, and net- metering compliance, using BMS and SCADA systems for monitoring and control.
Technical Support: Assist in analyzing client requirements and existing power distribution systems to support the design and integration of BESS- Microgrid systems with rooftop solar PV (50–300 kW) and BESS (0.5–10MWh capacity).
Testing & Commissioning: Support Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and site commissioning, including troubleshooting electrical control systems, BMS, and SCADA interfaces.
Documentation: Prepare and review project documentation, such as as- built drawings, O&M manuals, and handover reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Vietnam’s regulations.
Energy Modeling and Analysis: Use tools like PVsyst, ETAP, or MATLAB/Simulink to perform basic energy yield simulations, load flow analysis, and system optimization under supervision.
Material and Solution Selection: Support the selection of components (e.g., inverters like Schneider Conext or Huawei SUN2000, battery cabinets like Schneider LIBSESMG series or LFP equivalents) under senior engineer guidance, ensuring compliance with TCVN, IEC, and IEEE 1547 standards.
Project Execution: Contribute to project phases, including offer preparation (technical documentation, cost estimates), procurement support (coordinating with local suppliers like Schneider Electric Vietnam or Sungrow), installation assistance, and testing & commissioning (T&C).

Education

Education: Bachelor&039;s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from a reputable Vietnamese university (e.g., Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology- HCMUT, Hanoi University of Science and Technology- HUST, or equivalent). A Master&039;s degree in Renewable Energy Engineering or Power Systems is highly preferred.
Languages: Native Vietnamese; Fluent English (minimum IELTS 6.5 or equivalent) for international collaboration.

Experience: ~1–3 years in electrical control systems, power automation, or energy management, with exposure to BMS, SCADA, or renewable energy projects (e.g., solar PV, BESS, or microgrids). Internship or entry- level experience in Vietnam’s industrial or commercial sectors is acceptable.
Background and Skill:

Other: Willingness to travel domestically and Internationally.
Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of Vietnamese standards (TCVN 10860), EVN regulations, and international norms (IEEE 1547, UL9540).
Technical Skills: Basic proficiency in Schneider EcoStruxure (EMA, EMO, Galaxy VS UPS, LIBSESMG series), Siemens Spectrum Power MGMS, ABB Ability e- mesh, or Eaton Power Xpert. Familiarity with PVsyst, ETAP, AutoCAD, or PLC programming (e.g., Schneider Unity Pro). Knowledge of electrical control systems, BMS, and SCADA integration.
Languages: Native Vietnamese; Proficient English (minimum IELTS 5.5 or equivalent) for international collaboration.
Soft Skills: Excellent project management, problem- solving, and communication abilities. Ability to lead cross- functional teams and negotiate with suppliers.
