JOB SUMMARY
The Process Maintenance Engineer is responsible for leading strategic maintenance initiatives to optimize equipment performance and improve reliability in a manufacturing environment. This role requires deep expertise in electrical, mechanical, and automation systems, and serves as a technical member in cross- functional improvement projects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Mentor and train junior engineers and technicians; develop OPL materials for training and technical procedure standards.
· Manage cost spare part using maintenance activities, evaluate lifetime spare part & optimize order spare parts.
· Play a key member in preparing for quality and safety audits (FDA, ISO, internal).
· Ensure strict compliance with safety, environmental, and industry regulatory standards
· Support the implementation of new systems or upgrades to existing equipment.
· Advanced in root cause analysis equipment performance data to identify trends and improvement opportunities MTTR, MTBF & OEE.
· Lead preventive maintenance programs and long- term equipment improvement initiatives.
· Implement and oversee focus & continuous improvement projects including Kaizen, Six Sigma, and TPM.
· Collaborate closely with Production, Quality, and Engineering departments to integrate maintenance into manufacturing processes.
SKILLS
Advanced in reading electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic schematics.
Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
Advanced in problem- solving tools such as 5- Whys, Fishbone Diagram, 4M analysis, PDCA.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Hands- on experience with PLC troubleshooting, SCADA systems, and automation (Siemens/Allen- Bradley/Mitsubishi is preferred).
Skilled in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Solid Edge) is preferred.
Familiar with quality standards such as FDA CFR21 and ISO 13485; experience supporting audits is a plus.
Strong technical English communication skills.
