SCOPE OF WORK
Oversee end- to- end delivery of on- premises software solutions, ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance across hotel environments. Drive development and enhancement of systems supporting guest services, reservations, property operations, and back- office functions. Ensure seamless integration with third- party hospitality platforms (payment gateways, booking engines, channel managers, loyalty systems). Balance modernization initiatives with maintaining legacy/on- prem infrastructure and applications.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Ensure seamless integration with third- party hospitality platforms (payment gateways, booking engines, channel managers, loyalty systems)
Oversee end- to- end delivery of on- premises software solutions, ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance across hotel environments
Balance modernization initiatives with maintaining legacy/on- prem infrastructure and applications
Lead and manage a team of 5–10+ software developers delivering mission- critical hospitality applications (e.g. PMS, POS, booking, business operations systems)
Drive development and enhancement of systems supporting guest services, reservations, property operations, and back- office functions and AI solutions.
Provide architectural and hands- on guidance across:
- On- premises integrations (hardware devices, local networks, kiosks, room systems)
- Front- end applications (operational dashboards, POS, staff tools)
- Back- end systems (transactional services, APIs, databases)
- AI- driven capabilities (guest personalization, forecasting, operational analytics)
Align solutions with hospitality operational workflows
Manage workload and staffing across multi- property deployments and support demands
Build, mentor, and lead a high- performing engineering team
Design resilient systems optimized for on- site deployment, including offline capability and low- latency performance
Drive a culture of accountability, quality, and continuous improvement
Mitigate risks specific to on- premises deployments, including local storage vulnerabilities and physical system access
Deliver systems that improve guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, and revenue management
Enforce secure Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) practices, including secure coding, code reviews, threat modeling, and vulnerability management
Plan releases and deployments to minimize disruption to 24/7 hotel operations
Conduct performance management, coaching, and career development planning
Ensure reliable operation across distributed, multi- property hotel environments
Ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations (e.g., PCI DSS, privacy laws, internal data governance policies)
Ensure strict protection of Personally Identifiable Information (PII), including guest profiles, payment data, and employee records
Yêu cầu công việc
Minimum of 5 years in leading and developing software solutions.
Experience in building AI applications, and understanding of AI design principles
Full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
Strong understanding of, Data structures & algorithms, Object- oriented design, Design patterns
Mobile application development and web development is an advantage in the Hospitality industry
Agile / Scrum methodologies
Strong English communication skills
Work with APIs, microservices and related system integrations
Code reviews & mentoring junior developers
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or related to IT filed of study.
