Senior Back-end Python Developer FastAPI, AWS

This is a high- impact position where your work contributes directly to improving global cybersecurity. You will collaborate closely with other engineers, product managers, and threat analysts to deliver tools and services that help our customers monitor and reduce risk in a constantly evolving threat landscape.
While the core focus of the role is web crawling and backend infrastructure, you’ll also have opportunities to work with modern AI and Machine Learning models—no prior experience required, just curiosity and a willingness to learn.
You will play a key role in building and maintaining large- scale systems that extract and process cyber threat intelligence from both the surface web and the dark web.
Outpost24 is seeking Senior Python Back- end Developers to join our growing development team in our beautiful Hanoi office.

Develop and maintain robust web crawlers for extracting data from surface and dark web sources
Build APIs and backend services to support threat intelligence products
Collaborate with cross- functional teams to deliver high- quality features
Experience with AWS and Terraform is a strong advantage
Help maintain and improve existing systems, including legacy codebases
Work with cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized environments
Design and build scalable, production- grade backend systems using modern engineering practices
Write clean, efficient, well- tested, and well- documented code
Actively participate in agile ceremonies (planning, grooming, retrospectives)
Exposure to AI/ML technologies is a plus

Strong proficiency in Python, with experience in backend systems
Strong problem- solving skills and attention to detail
Comfortable working with databases such as PostgreSQL, Redis, and MongoDB
Bachelor’s degree in Software Development, Computer Science, or equivalent
Experience working with messaging systems like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Amazon SQS
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and cloud platforms (preferably AWS)
Hands- on experience building web crawlers or scrapers
Familiarity with data extraction from structured/unstructured web sources (surface or dark web)
Experience with building REST APIs using common Python frameworks (e.g., FastAPI, Flask, Django)
Professional English communication skills (written and spoken)
Proficient with Git in a team development environment
