Senior Accountant/ Chief Accountant

Proper recording of pre- opening expenses in accordance with VAS (Vietnamese Accounting Standards)Preparation of daily journal entries and ensuring accuracy of financial transactions in the General LedgerParticipation in monthly closings to ensure agility, timeliness, and reliability of the processAnalysis and reconciliation of accounts to ensure accuracy and completenessPreparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations and analysis of variancesManagement of inter- company balances and reconciliationPreparation of payment lists and adherence to payment schedulesFamiliarity with various taxes including VAT, PIT, CIT, WHT, and ensuring tax reports are filed in compliance with statutory requirementsProper depreciation of fixed assets in accordance with VAS and group policiesAccurate accrual of expenses and allocation of prepaymentsCompletion of other tasks assigned by the Manager

Strong accounting knowledge with the ability to work under pressureExperience working with pre- opening project phases is advantageousKnowledge of IFRS/US GAAP and accounting mapping is beneficialFamiliarity with withholding tax and transfer pricing is advantageousStrong communication, organizational, and technology skills are essential5+ years of experience with at least 2 years in a senior accounting or general accountant rolePreferably experience in a large- scale or multinational company with foreign investmentBachelor&039;s degree in accounting/financeChief Accounting Certificate is preferredFluent in EnglishHigh proficiency in ExcelExperience with ERP systems, with knowledge of Dynamics D365FO considered a plus
