What’s the Job?
As Sales Manager, you will support the DOSM in driving the hotel’s sales activities and ensuring that revenue targets are achieved or exceeded. You’ll build strong business relationships, develop strategic sales opportunities, and represent the Rêve HCMC brand with creativity, professionalism, and passion — delivering personalized experiences and long- term partnerships aligned with IHG’s True Hospitality promise.
Your Day to Day
People
Work closely with the DOSM to plan manpower needs, develop team capability, and foster a positive and high- performing sales culture.
Provide guidance, coaching, and motivation to ensure team members deliver results and embody the Rêve and IHG values.
Build strong relationships within the hotel and across departments to ensure seamless collaboration and information sharing.
Support a team environment that values learning, accountability, and mutual respect.
Financial
Negotiate rates and contracts within approved guidelines to maximize yield and profitability.
Maintain accurate records, reports, and forecasts in Opera Sales and other systems.
Analyze market trends, competitor performance, and business opportunities to identify and secure new accounts.
Support the achievement of hotel financial goals through efficient planning and targeted selling.
Drive revenue through effective sales calls, account management, and closing of key business opportunities.
Participate in preparing and managing departmental budgets and sales forecasts.
Guest Experience
Conduct regular sales calls, client visits, and presentations to strengthen relationships with key partners and generate leads.
Ensure customer satisfaction through timely follow- up, personalized service, and attention to detail.
Host and entertain clients to build trust and enhance brand loyalty.
Represent Rêve HCMC at trade shows, networking events, and familiarization trips to promote the hotel.
Maintain consistent communication with IHG sister properties and regional sales teams to share leads and collaborate on opportunities.
Manage and grow a portfolio of accounts and market segments to achieve business goals.
Responsible Business
Support sustainable business practices by promoting environmentally responsible event solutions and operations.
Build the hotel’s visibility and reputation in the local and regional market through active participation in community and business networks.
Perform other duties as assigned and act as Manager on Duty when required.
Ensure all contracts, rate agreements, and practices comply with IHG policies and local regulations.

You’ll be responsible for achieving assigned sales targets, building strong client relationships, and ensuring the delivery of an exceptional guest and partner experience that reflects Rêve HCMC’s unique brand positioning within the Vignette Collection.
