Role Summary
Implement and monitor all marketing activities designed by Marketing Team to build up brand value & equity according to Country marketing strategy.
Ensure highest outcome of SFE & CRM measurements.
This role plays a critical role in shaping the company’s long- term pharmacy channel strategy and driving sustainable growth in Vietnam.
The primary focus of this role is to drive and ensure the product listing successfully in all big pharmacy chains and maximize coverage of key independent pharmacies (IDP).
The portfolio is selected by country includes focus therapies in Erectile Dysfunction (ED), Gastroenterology, Pain Management, and ARV (Antiretroviral) segments.
The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is responsible for driving sales growth and expanding market presence within the pharmacy channel across the assigned region in Vietnam.
Key Responsibilities
Chain Listing & Key Account Management
• Lead Key account Manager as a subordinate and drive product listing negotiations with all big pharmacy chains:
Long Châu Pharmacy
An Khang Pharmacy
Pharmacity
Trung Son Pharma
• Develop strong relationships with Head Office buyers and category managers.
• Secure visibility programs, in- store promotions, and display agreements.
• Ensure timely product onboarding and expansion across chain outlets nationwide.
• Monitor stock availability, sell- out data, and replenishment planning.
• Negotiate commercial terms, trade margins, listing fees, promotional agreements, and annual contracts.
Sales & Marketing Achievement
• Achieve regional sales targets (value and volume).
• Organize and monitor all marketing activities according to action plan & strategy designed by marketing team.
• Develop regional sales strategies aligned with national objectives.
• Ensure optimal territory coverage and call planning inline to SFE management.
• Drive sell- in and sell- out performance across chains and IDPs.
Team Leadership & Field Execution
• Manage 3 Teams of North, South and Mekong lead by Area Sales Managers.
• Conduct field visits and business reviews.
• Coach and manage a team internally and supports for better performance.
• Drive high- performance culture and accountability.
• Ensure proper execution of trade promotions and track KPIs including coverage, productivity, and call quality.
• Develop succession planning and talent development within the team.
Independent Pharmacy (IDP) & Small Chain Development
• Expand business through independent pharmacies (IDPs) and local pharmacy chains across Vietnam.
• Supports product launches, promotions and in chain marketing activities in coordination with the marketing/medical affairs.
• Execute chain- specific, IDPs promotional campaigns and drive the team for effective campaign execution in across Vietnam.
• Strengthen distributor collaboration to ensure coverage and stock availability.
Business Planning & Market Analysis
• Identify new growth opportunities in ED, Gastro, Pain, and ARV segments.
• Analyze chain performance (sell- in, sell- out, ROI).
• Monitor competitor listing status, pricing, and promotional activities.
• Provide regular sales forecasts and business reviews.
Compliance & Governance
• Maintain OTX promotion standards in the OTC market.
• Ensure all activities follow company SOPs and Vietnam MOH regulations.
• Report to Country Manager (direct) and Business Unit Head (dotted).
