R&D Assistant

JOB PURPOSE

The R&D Assistant supports R&D department in daily laboratory testing, sample dissection analysis, and documentation. This role has oppotunity to hands- on experience in packaging material evaluation and process support, contribute directly to product development.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities:

Support New Product Introduction (NPI), assist in preparing technical documentation (TDS, BOM, MO) and evaluate new materials from suppliers.
Support the R&D team on the given tasks.
Monitor machine trial runs and prepare related test and trial reports.
Maintain technical documents such as product specifications, product profiles, and test reports.
Conduct lab tests on materials and products. Analyze and report test results. Perform periodic checking and calibration of laboratory equipment.
Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and Production teams to understand customer needs and technical requirements.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
1- 2 years of experience in product development, in a laboratory or R&D support role is an advantage, or similar role (entry- level candidates with strong potential considered).

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, Packaging Engineer or a related field.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, Packaging Engineer or a related field.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Excel skills, good communication and negotiation.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Age: 26 or younger
