Develop
s, including construction schedules, construction methods, and the organisation and management of activities of the technical, design and maintenance departments, as well as site management teams.
Work directly with competent authorities regarding the legal procedures of projects (if requested). Liaise with government authorities and local governments in the project area to resolve issues related to the site/project; prepare and submit statutory reports to state agencies in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Work with consulting units to propose design solutions appropriate to current codes and standards, and are cost- effective, feasible, and safe.
Responsible for reporting and seek advice from the Board of Directors about critical matters and vital decisions that could potentially impact the state of the project. The Project Manager is responsible for proposing solutions and seeking advice from the Board of Directors with urgency. It is of vital importance that the Project Manager prevents any outstanding issues.
Conduct inspection and acceptance, witness testing during construction, review additional/incurred values and submit claims for additional work items for approval, and check quality dossiers, quantity records and project completion documents (directly or through the Project Management Department).
Participate in HR activities related to the assigned project, including manpower plans and other staff related budgeting, participate in hiring interviews, recommending downsizing, deployment of staff and proposing disciplinary actions or termination for employees under management. Jointly responsible for the work capability, performance, and integrity of all staff under supervision.
Coordinate with consultants and contractors to promptly resolve issues, ensuring the construction implementation plan is met. Take initiative in resolving issues, proposing solutions and identifying root causes for all project matters. Excluding critical decisions, the Project Manager has authority to resolve project issues so that the project is executed in the best and most economical manner (economical in this sense can be understood as cost- effective or time- saving, depending on the project). The Project Manager shall be held accountable for these decisions to the Company.
Responsible in ensuring compliance and alignment of procedures, processes of the department
Take primary responsibility to the Board of Directors for recommending and selecting contractors and consultants suitable for the project and the Company’s criteria. Manage or participate with staff in negotiations with contractors, suppliers and consultants to secure the best prices and terms for the Company.
Work on strategic plans closely with the Chief of People & Transformation
Organise and carry out inspection and control of activities on site, and take responsibility to the Board of Directors for all project aspects, including schedule, quality, volume, cost, aesthetics, risks, environment, etc. during construction, handover and warranty.
Prepare, propose, monitor, and report to the Board of Directors on all project expenditures and spending limits. The Project Manager must propose a budget estimate of project- related activities at the beginning of any project.
Status Reports
Weekly reports to Line Manager
Recommend improvement and optimisation initiatives for work processes during project implementation to enhance efficiency.
Proactively liaise and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure a smooth and effective implementation of the project.
Progress reports to the Investor/Client upon request, via the Company’s Board of Directors.

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil and Industrial Construction Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Construction Economics or any other related fields.
Construction Management Professional Certificate.
Construction Supervision Professional Certificate appropriate to the professional field or Construction Cost Estimation Professional Certificate.
Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar position.
Possess an analytical, creative, and problem- solving mindset
Excellent time management and willing to work under high pressure
Excellent communicative, independent, and collaborative work skills
Able to communicate in English.
