Inspection and Monitoring:
· Ensure product quality and process assurance, including Advanced Product Quality Planning and implementation.
· Ensure all inspections and tests meet established standards and schedules.
· Supervise and audit IQC, IPQC, and OQC processes. (IQA, IPQA, OQA)
· Review and approve first article inspection reports and product evaluations.
Customer Management:
· Support customer- specific quality audits and requirements.
· Ensure all outgoing 8D reports are professional and submitted timely to customers
· Collaborate with customers to address quality- related issues and implement solutions.
· Manage customer quality windows, KPIs addressing issues promptly and effectively.
Analysis and Continuous Improvement:
· Perform root cause analysis and implement CAPA for non- conforming materials/products.
· Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Six Sigma methodologies.
· Conduct regular audits of production lines to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
· Lead cross- functional teams in effective root cause analysis using tools such as DMAIC, 5Whys, etc.
Leadership and Training:
· Train and mentor quality team members to enhance technical expertise.
· Strong mentoring and people management across each quality function unit.
· Promote a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement within the organization
Strategic Planning and KPI Management:
· Identify and achieve targets for KPI & COQ yearly and keep track of performance regularly.
· Ensure product quality from design stage to mass production, providing feedback on design, safety, and manufacturability.
· Develop technical expertise in PCBA manufacturing processes, including soldering, assembly, and testing.
· Develop Capex and headcount planning to support business growth.
· Responsible for strategic planning, development, training, execution, monitoring, and reporting of product- specific quality assurance and continuous improvement processes..
Cross- Department Collaboration:
· Act as the focal person to manage conflicts between Quality and other departments.
· Facilitate internal coordination to ensure alignment of quality objectives across departments.
· Support cross- functional teams during internal quality system audits.
