Job Description:
The QC Lead (Quality Control Lead) is responsible for building processes and standards to ensure overall quality for the Employee Portal system. This role ensures all products, features, and deployment processes meet quality standards, security, performance, and user experience requirements, while leading the QC/QA team to operate effectively using agile methodologies.
Monitor and report Quality Metrics: defect quality, test coverage, pass rate, UAT issues, and release stability.
Serve as technical advisor for internal users, enhancing testing capability and quality awareness throughout the product development team.
Build and manage Test Case Repository: test scenarios, test cases, test data, and checklists for each Employee Portal module (Onboarding, KPI, Self- service HR, Communication Hub, etc.).
Establish standard Testing Framework targeting the Agile/Scrum model, including automation testing processes, CI/CD, and other data types.
Propose and implement modern testing tools, including automation testing, API testing, performance testing, and monitoring tools.
Develop and maintain the overall Test Strategy for the entire Employee Portal project, including functional, non- functional, security, and performance testing.
Participate in quality risk assessment and propose preventive measures (shift- left testing).
Lead the QC/QA team, assign tasks, provide capability guidance, and ensure testing timeline and quality in each sprint and release.
Manage and coordinate UAT [User Acceptance Testing] with HR business departments and internal users.
Conduct post- release reviews to continuously improve quality assurance processes.
Collaborate closely with Product Owner, BA, and Dev teams to thoroughly understand business requirements and define acceptance criteria.
Job Requirements:
Professional Expertise:
Minimum 10 years of experience in software testing, with at least 3 years in QC/QA Lead or Test Manager role.
Professional certifications are an advantage: ISTQB Advanced Level, Certified Agile Tester, PMP- ACP, or equivalent.
Proficient in various testing types: Functional testing, regression, UAT, performance, automation, integration, and security testing.
Experience testing large- scale systems in banking, finance, or HR Tech industries is an advantage.
Technical & Agile Experience:
Proficient in testing tools: Jira, Zephyr, Postman, Selenium, Cypress, JMeter, TestRail, Jenkins.
Ability to design automation testing frameworks suitable for Employee Portal modules.
Understanding of DevOps and CI/CD pipelines, release processes, and integration testing in agile environments.
Strong knowledge of API testing, database validation, and security compliance in financial organizations.
Experience working throughout the product development lifecycle (SDLC) with ability to coordinate multiple roles (BA, Dev, PO, Architect).
