PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION:
Spartronics Viet Nam is seeking a QA Manager/Director is responsible for leading the entire quality management system of an electronic manufacturing facility, ensuring product compliance with customer requirements and international standards. This role drives quality strategy, risk management, continuous improvement, cost reduction, and customer satisfaction while developing a strong QA organization and quality culture.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Quality Strategy & System Leadership
Define and implement long- term quality strategy for the factory.
Lead, maintain, and continually improve QMS according to ISO 9001, ISO 13485, AS9100, NADCAP, IPC standards, and customer requirements.
Align quality direction with corporate/global standards where applicable.
Product, Process & Compliance Control
Ensure compliance with regulatory and customer- specific requirements (including medical/aerospace if applicable).
Own end- to- end product quality control from incoming → in- process → outgoing → customer.
Approve quality standards, control plans, PFMEA, sampling methods, workmanship requirements.
Customer Quality Management
Act as executive- level quality representative for customers.
Lead communication in QBR/MBR, customer audits, escalations, NCMR, RMA and field return cases.
Drive customer satisfaction improvement with focus on NPS and long- term partnership.
Improvement, Cost, Yield & Performance
Lead continuous improvement using Lean Six Sigma, RCA, DOE, SPC, and preventive quality tools.
Reduce Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ), scrap and rework while improving FPY and overall yield.
Implement data- driven quality monitoring and predictive improvement systems.
Audit & Certification
Ensure effective CAPA closure and shift from corrective to preventive control mindset.
Manage internal, customer and third- party audits.
Achieve full compliance with zero major non- conformance findings.
Leadership & People Development
Oversee QA/QC/FA/RMA/Document Control teams at factory level.
Promote quality ownership culture with discipline, transparency, and continuous improvement.
Build competency framework, capability roadmap, and succession pipeline for quality team.
