Python Backend Developer Hybrid Work

This role will be part of a global- scale product development initiative a fast- growing U.S. company redefining the future of fashion and inclusive design.
By joining the team, you&039;ll help build the technical foundation behind the brand’s e- commerce platforms and supply chain tools. You’ll work in a fast- paced CI/CD environment with top- tier global talent, delivering backend features that scale effortlessly across high- traffic consumer platforms.
Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain scalable backend systems using Python and Django
Develop APIs that integrate with frontend apps, logistics, and payment systems
Contribute to architectural decisions and mentor junior engineers
Work with AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, Lambda) to deploy resilient and secure applications
Maintain code quality through testing, reviews, and optimization
Create GitHub Actions workflows to streamline builds, tests, and deployments
Collaborate cross- functionally with product, design, and front- end teams in Agile sprints

Must Have:

Understanding of scalable architectures and performance tuning
Good communication skills in English
Proactive, adaptable, and curious mindset
Experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
Deep familiarity with the Django framework and RESTful APIs
Comfortable in Agile environments and cross- functional teams
5+ years of backend development experience in Python
Proficiency in cloud deployment and management on AWS

Nice to Have:

Familiarity with observability tools (e.g., Datadog, Splunk)
Docker, PostgreSQL, Redis expertise
Interest in fashion tech and consumer- facing innovation
Exposure to frontend- backend integration challenges
Experience in e- commerce platforms, analytics, or supply chain systems
