• Clean workstation including room service trolleys, hot boxes and room service shelves. Maintain department’s service and storage areas in a clean and tidy condition
• Assist other F&B outlets with their operations during peak times or when required
• Set up table and serve food from trolley in accordance with departmental standards and procedures
• Greet and briefly converse with guests in room while delivering trolleys/meals
• Be familiar with all menu items, their garnishes, contents, and preparation methods; relay the information to guests in a polite and concise way when requested
• Up- sell and promote food and beverage offers at every available opportunity
• Collect and neatly stack dirty dishes on trolley, table, or tray and remove from rooms or retrieve from hall outside of rooms
• Report guest’s feedbacks, complaints or other irregularities to management and follow up if necessary
• Break down trays and trolleys at stewarding area
• Uncover and present food to ensure that all items are correctly received
• Answer enquiries with regards to room service and responds to requests for additional F&B services
