Production Material Control (PMC) Staff

The PMC Staff ensures the efficient flow of materials and production schedules to meet manufacturing targets, maximize machine utilization, minimize downtime, and optimize inventory levels.Key Responsibilities:1. Material Planning and Management:• Develop and maintain accurate material requirement plans (MRP) based on production schedules.• Monitor material usage, inventory levels to ensure timely availability of materials and avoid stockouts or overstocking.• Coordinate with procurement teams to place purchase orders for raw materials.• Conduct periodic audits of inventory and report discrepancies.2. Production Scheduling• Prepare and adjust production schedules to meet delivery timelines and customer requirements.• Monitor production progress and address any deviations from the plan.• Communicate schedules to relevant teams and ensure adherence.3. Coordination and Communication• Liaise with sales, warehouse teams, and production staff to ensure seamless material flow.• Coordinate with quality assurance teams to handle rejected materials and ensure replacements.• Provide regular updates to management on production and material status.4. Data Analysis and Reporting• Analyze production and inventory data to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.• Generate and maintain reports on material usage, production output, and inventory performance.5. Compliance and Safety• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.• Promote safe material handling practices among staff.

(I) Education : • Bachelor’s degree in Production Planning, Warehouse Management, or a related field.(II) Work Experience :• At least 5 years of experience in material control, production planning, or supply chain management (preferred).• Familiarity with Diecasting and CNC manufacturing processes is an advantage.(III) Other Skills :• Proficiency in ERP/MRP/U9 systems, MES and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).• Strong organizational and time- management skills.• Excellent planning skill, communication and coordination abilities, meeting all KPIs performance• Analytical mindset with problem- solving skills.• Willing to learn, thrive in a fast- paced environment and have a can- do attitude.• Team player.• Decisive / Responsibility / Clear in direction.• Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory, and material tracking cum reporting.IV) Language • Proficient in English
