Procurement Officer

Position Summary: The Procurement Officer plays a vital role in supporting the club’s procurement operations, focusing on executing purchasing orders, maintaining effective vendor relationships, and assisting in the development and implementation of procurement strategies to meet the club’s operational needs efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a foundational understanding of procurement principles.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the Procurement Manager in ensuring compliance with the club’s procurement policies and relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with the Procurement Manager to negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers, aiming for favorable conditions and sustainable relationships.
Monitor inventory levels and reorder supplies as necessary, ensuring the timely availability of essential goods and services.
Process purchasing orders, from creation through approval and fulfillment, ensuring accuracy and adherence to specifications.
Conduct market research to identify potential vendors and products, obtaining quotes and comparing prices for cost- efficiency.
Maintain and update vendor records, including contact information, payment terms, and performance evaluations.
Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports on procurement activities, orders, and expenditures for review and decision- making support.
Assist in the development and execution of procurement strategies designed to streamline operations and reduce costs.

Requirement

Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Minimum of 2 years experience in a procurement or purchasing role, preferably within the gaming, hospitality, or related industry.
Understanding of procurement processes, supply chain management, and inventory control.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Organizational and time- management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders.
