Job Summary:
The Night Auditor Supervisor is responsible for overseeing night audit operations during the overnight shift. This role ensures the accuracy of daily financial reporting, supervises the night front desk team, and supports smooth guest service during night hours. The position also plays a key role in ensuring guest safety, responding to late- night guest inquiries or emergencies, and maintaining the hotel&039;s operational standards during the night.
Key Responsibilities:
• Train and guide new night staff and ensure adherence to hotel policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with other departments (Housekeeping, Security, Engineering, etc.) to ensure smooth night operations.
• Monitor lobby and hotel premises to ensure safety and security; report any incidents to the appropriate departments.
• Ensure all guest check- ins and check- outs during night hours are handled accurately and courteously.
• Supervise the night audit team and ensure all night front office operations are carried out efficiently and professionally.
• Support the Night Manager or assume responsibilities in their absence.
• Perform end- of- day financial procedures including reconciliation of daily transactions, posting room charges, and generating audit reports.
• Verify and balance all revenue centers, including front office, F&B outlets, and other departments.
• Maintain confidentiality of guest information and hotel data at all times.
• Prepare and distribute daily revenue and management reports for the executive team.
• Address guest requests, complaints, or emergencies in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements:
• Excellent attention to detail and strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Strong knowledge of hotel systems (e.g., Opera, PMS, POS) and auditing procedures.
• Ability to work independently and lead a team with minimal supervision.
• Proven experience in Front Office or Night Audit roles, preferably in a supervisory capacity.
• Availability to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Good communication and problem- solving skills.
• Proficiency in English (both written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
