Customer Quality Management- Handle customer complaints and quality claims; issue failure analysis and corrective action reports.- Communicate with customers regarding quality performance, inspection results, and audits.Support PPAP, FAI, or customer approval samples as required.
Quality Assurance & System Control- Implement and maintain QA systems according to ISO 9001 or AS9100 as applicable.- Maintain and control documentation for all ISO systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, IATF 16949, or other applicable standards).- Update and distribute Quality Manual, Procedures, Work Instructions, and Forms.- Ensure all processes comply with documented procedures and system requirements.- Coordinate with process owners for document updates, revision control, and approvals.- Prepare and maintain quality records, inspection reports, and certificates of conformity.- Participate in internal audits and support external customer or certification audits.Monitor process capability and ensure process control limits are followed
Non- Conformance & Corrective Action- Analyze defects and non- conformances from production or customer returns (RMA).- Lead or support root cause analysis using 8D, 5 Why, or Fishbone methods.- Coordinate with Process and Production departments to implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).- Track and verify effectiveness of corrective actions.
Continuous Improvement- Monitor quality performance indicators (defect rate, yield, DPPM, on- time corrective action closure).- Conduct training for operators and inspectors on quality standards and workmanship (IPC- A- 600 / IPC- 6012).- Prepare data for management review and quality KPI reports.
