KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Job summary
• Effectively handle all ‘walk out” guests during the overbooking and updates the Front Office Manager on guest feedback.
• Ensures that room rates, which have been updated by reservations, are followed.
• Assign room for arrival of F.I.T and group.
• Is responsible for ensuring all guests are offered a faultless and speedy check- in, with the emphasis being that all guests are pre- registered and checked- in, in their respective rooms.
• Is well- versed with group arrival and departure pattern and requirements. Works closely with the Team Leader in ensuring a smooth operation.
• Should assist and help when groups, incentive bookings, VIPs special guests or banquet guests arrive. Must ensure all facilities are ready, to check on details of the arrangements and liaise with Duty Manager, and Front Office Manager to meet guests if necessary.
• Handle check- in and check- out. Ensure the ID or Passport of each arrival guest was scan into the system and transferred to Opera System.
• Handle money exchange and cash deposit.

Qualifications

Graduated from Vocational School/College/University in Hospitality, Tourism, Business Administration, or related fields.
Basic knowledge of hotel operations, especially Front Office.

Experience

Fresh graduates with a good attitude and strong communication skills are also encouraged to apply.
Preferably 6 months to 1 year of experience as a Receptionist, Guest Service Agent, or similar position in a hotel/resort environment.
