Handles daily correspondence.
Knows the type of rooms available as well as their location and layout.
To be aware of all front office procedures and assist with reception duties when required.
Responds to inquiries and makes reservations as needed.
Knows the selling status, rates, and benefits of all packages plans.
Promotes goodwill by beings courteous, friendly, and helpful to guests, mangers, and fellow employees.
Knows the credit policy of the hotel and how to code each reservation.
Communicates reservation information to the front desk.
Helps develop room revenue and occupancy forecasts.
Processes advance deposits on reservations.
Arrange transportation service when needed.
Make a daily report & monthly report to FOM & DOS (based on DOS request)
Prepares confirmation letters.
Prepares expected arrival list for front office use.
Monitors advances deposit requirements.
Processes reservations from the Sales department: OTA,TA & Corp.
Makes sure that files are kept up to date.
Tracks future room availability on the basis of reservations, and helps develop forecasts for room revenue and occupancy.
Maintains a clean and neat appearance and work area at all times.
Creates and maintains reservation records by date of arrival and alphabetical listing.
Processes cancellations and modifications and promptly relays this information to the front desk.
Understands the hotel&039;s policy on guaranteed reservations and no- shows.
Assists in preregistration activities when appropriate.
Getting information about areas of interest in order to target more clients in particular seasons.
Processes reservations by mail, telephone or reservation systems.
Configuring rates on the hotels property management system.
Tracks future room availabilities on the basis of reservations.
Willing to undertake any reasonable request made by management in any other areas of the hotel.

Ability to handle situations, good communication, and customer persuasion skills.
Proficient in using office computer software.
Ability to work independently.
College or University degree in economics (preferably in sales and marketing related to the hotel industry).
Careful and meticulous in work.
Previous experience in positions such as receptionist, reservations, etc., at hotels.
Familiarity with hotel management software systems.
Proficient in spoken English.
Ability to receive information and solve problems effectively with customers.
Proficient in listening, writing, and speaking English (equivalent to level C), with preference given to those with an additional foreign language.
Professional, friendly, and polite style with customers.
Appearance/Demeanor: Presentable appearance.
Good communication skills.
