MES Specialist

Function as 1 level MES contact related to MES requests from all Sonion entities.
Primary position objectives : This position is to develop and bring to the higher level together with person leading Manufacturing Execution System (MES). Providing training and expertise of MES application to maintain and optimize MES functionalities in production.

Make user guides, system document and MES functionality.
Perform to train new colleagues and operators (end users).
Solve daily tasks related to MES batch jobs maintenance.
Senior level of Business Intelligent tool (BI) deployment to end users.
Solve daily tasks related to MES system maintenance (related to data integrity).
Able to configure/ tweak system to adapt with manufacturing requirements.
Solve daily MES tasks coming from the MES helpdesk system.
Support on guide, trouble shoot, report on users’ daily tasks related to MES requests from all Sonion entities as the follow:

- And MES equipment (AIO touch screen, tablet, printers, and machine connection box) operation
- MOC operation
- SMA (tablet) operation
- AIP (AIO touch screen) operation

Support on MES resources management related to users and equipment.

- Installation software on MES equipment
- MES server

Support to standardize system through MES application in manufacturing environment.
Support improvement activities of other department by using MES functionality/ data management.
Other tasks are assigned by supervisor.
Self- improving competences of the team/ contribute to improve competences of the team.

Managing training

Planning, papering organizing and leading training.
Taking care of training equipment/ software application.
Planning, organizing training materials.

Co- operation with departments supporting.
Conducting periodical appraisal.

Education :- College graduate (IT/ industrial).
- University industrial manufacturing/ automation major/ IT hardware is preferable
Professional Knowledge

Good Windows system infrastructure knowledge.
Trainer skills.
Basic operate and troubleshoot IT equipment’s (network) knowledge.
Familiarity with product and manufacturing process .
Understand that employees must perform according to SBS which was built according to the ISO systems.
Lean knowledge.

Knowledge of computer servicing:
- Microsoft Office, ERP (Dynamic), IT hardware/ software,
- PLCs – basic knowledge

Knowledge of foreign languages:
• Basic in speaking and listening skill.
• Level B level or equal is an advance .
• Good in reading and writing skill.

Professional Experience
: At least 1- 2 years’ experience in industrial management, automation, kaizen documents.
