We are looking for a Media Buying Manager to lead media planning and buying activities, develop performance- driven media proposals for integrated IMC campaigns, manage end- to- end media performance delivery, and lead the media team to ensure campaigns are executed efficiently, effectively, and in alignment with agreed strategies, scopes, and KPIs.
Job Description
Media Strategy & Proposal Development- 30%
Translate communication and business strategies into actionable, performance- driven media solutions, including platform selection, format strategy, bidding logic, and optimization approach.
Develop master media roadmaps/frameworks for integrated IMC projects, clearly defining the role of paid media across digital platforms, social channels, PR amplification, production, and event phases.
Lead the development of media strategies and media proposals for performance, branding, and integrated IMC campaigns, with a strong focus on ROI and business impact.
Define and own channel mix, funnel structure, audience segmentation, KPI frameworks, budget allocation, and phasing strategies based on performance objectives and data insights.
Prepare, structure, and present media sections in client proposals, pitch decks, and strategic performance reviews.
Media Performance & Delivery Management – 25%
Ensure media delivery consistently meets agreed quality standards, timelines, and budget constraints.
Oversee the execution and performance of all media campaigns across assigned accounts or projects.
Work closely with Account teams to align performance updates, insights, and optimization recommendations prior to client communication.
Monitor overall media performance against agreed KPIs, including reach, frequency, CPM, CPC, CPL, CPA, ROAS, and other performance metrics.
Identify performance risks, under- delivery issues, or budget inefficiencies; proactively propose data- led optimization and corrective solutions.
Leadership – Team Management & Capability Development – 20%
Participate in performance reviews, capability assessments, and career development planning for media team members.
Lead, manage, and develop the Media Buying team, including Senior Media Buying Executives, Media Buying Executives, and Interns.
Allocate workloads, campaigns, and budgets based on team capacity, capability, and performance requirements.
Provide coaching, on- the- job training, and structured performance feedback to elevate media thinking, execution quality, and data literacy.
Act as a role model for performance ownership, accountability, and a results- driven working culture within Zeta Media.
Client & Cross- functional Collaboration – 15%
Participate in client meetings, workshops, and strategic discussions related to media performance when required.
Partner with Account Directors/Managers to act as a media performance advisor, providing clear and logical explanations of media strategies, results, and optimization decisions.
Collaborate closely with Planning, Creative, and Production teams to ensure media plans and creatives are optimized for performance effectiveness.
Ensure all media- related communication between Zeta Media and clients is accurate, timely, data- backed, and strategically aligned.
Media Operations, Governance & Process Improvement – 10%
Support the development and maintenance of internal media benchmarks, best practices, and performance knowledge sharing within the media department.
Oversee budget tracking, media cost control, reconciliation, and coordination with Finance and Account teams.
Standardize and continuously improve media workflows, setup checklists, optimization frameworks, reporting templates, and performance dashboards.
Ensure media buying operations comply with internal processes, platform policies, and legal/compliance requirements.
REQUIREMENT
Proven leadership capability with experience managing, coaching, and developing media team members.
Good English skills for professional communication, presentation, and documentation.
Strong understanding of media planning, buying, optimization, and performance measurement across major digital platforms (Meta, Google, TikTok; programmatic is a plus).
Minimum 4–6 years of experience in Media Buying, Digital Media, or Performance Marketing, preferably in agency environments.
Strong analytical mindset; proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
College/BA in Communications, Marketing, Business, or related fields.
