Laboratory Technician

Job Overview:
As a Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our customers by creating/conducting testing on lab samples of garment/textile, operating all necessary lab equipment, providing accurate and timely reporting of test results as well as communicate with customers to answer any questions regarding to test results.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Understand garments constructions well and able to explain to customers with Bemis bonding solutions.
Perform appropriate testing and recommend best product/process condition for applications.
Able to communicate with customers in both English and Vietnamese to discuss about garments applications and testing requirement.
Analyze technical information and prepare timely/accurate reports.
Handle customer test requests with efficient and effective responses which requires understanding garment applications.
Provide/communicate technical ideas and test results to customers as well as internal technical and commercial team in a clear and organized manner.
Update and issue test reports and return physical tested samples to customers

Medium level of sewing machine operation.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience with Outlook, Excel, Microsoft word.
5 years of experience in textile/garments related factory experience and/or lab testing position.
Good command in written English, good at English speaking is an advantage.
Detail minded, willing to learn new skills, effective communication skills.
Diploma or degree holder of textile related disciplines is preferred.
Hard working and able to work independently.
Must be willing to work on machines.
