Responsibilities:
Internal Controls: Establish and maintain internal control procedures to safeguard company assets, prevent fraud, and ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures
Compliance and Regulatory Reporting: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and reporting obligations, including submission of financial reports to government agencies and regulatory bodies.
Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in compliance with Vietnamese accounting standards and regulations.
Tax Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate preparation and submission of tax returns, including value- added tax (VAT), corporate income tax (CIT), and other applicable taxes, in compliance with Vietnamese tax laws.
Treasury Management: Manage cash flow, monitor liquidity, and optimize working capital management to support operational needs and strategic initiatives.
Audit Coordination: Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors to facilitate the audit process, address audit findings, and implement recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
Attention to detail: Thoroughness and accuracy in financial reporting and record- keeping are essential.
Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations: Strong understanding of Vietnamese accounting standards, tax laws, and regulations.
Education: A bachelor&039;s degree or higher in accounting
Experience: 2+ years of relevant experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
Communication skills: Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with internal teams, external stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.
Analytical skills: Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to support decision- making.
Professional certification: Holding a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) is preferred.
Proficient in English, and Russian is an advantage.
