IQC Engineer

PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION/ MỤC ĐÍCH CỦA VỊ TRÍ:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail- oriented Incoming Quality Control (IQC) Engineer to join our PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) factory. As an IQC Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of components and materials received from suppliers, which are crucial to our manufacturing processes. Your expertise and attention to detail will play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of product quality and customer satisfaction.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ CÔNG VIỆC CHÍNH:

Non- Conformity Management: Identify and report any non- conforming Components, materials, or processes, and work closely with suppliers to resolve issues promptly and effectively.
Cross- functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other teams, including Engineering, manufacturing, and Quality Assurance, to resolve issues, address concerns, and improve overall product Quality and reliability.

Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce Quality Assurance processes and procedures to ensure adherence to product specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Part Inspection Plan (PIP): Review customer requirement and materials datasheet to create PIP to instruct operator to follow and check incoming materials.
Supplier Evaluation: Collaborate with the procurement team to evaluate Supplier performance and provide feedback regarding the Quality of Incoming materials, contributing to Supplier selection and improvement initiatives.
Inspect Incoming Components: Conduct thorough visual and functional inspections of Incoming Components, such as electronic parts, PCBs, chemical, mechanical parts other materials used in the PCBA/Box- build manufacturing process.
Training & Mentoring.
Test and Measurement: Utilize appropriate testing equipment, tools, and software to perform electrical, mechanical, and functional tests on Incoming Components, verifying their compliance with specifications.
Continuous improvement.
Documentation: Accurately document inspection results, Test data, and any non- conformities discovered during the IQC process. Prepare detailed reports and maintain comprehensive records for future reference.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a PCBA manufacturing environment or the electronic components industry, with a strong grasp of PCBA processes and quality control (QC) methodologies.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field. Relevant industry certifications are a plus.
Others:

Solid knowledge of metal and plastic mechanical parts, able to read and understand technical drawings, proficiently use 2D mechanical measuring devices.
Solid knowledge of industry standards and regulations, such as IPC- A- 610, IPC- A600, ISO 9001, and RoHS/REACH.
Solid knowledge of electronic components parts, understanding basic electrical values, understanding of tests related to electronic components from third parties.
Training skills and training experience.
Proficient in using various electrical and mechanical testing equipment, including multimeters, oscilloscopes, function generators, and soldering stations.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate with cross- functional teams and suppliers.
Good at English, TOEIC 700+ or equivalent. Chinese is an advantage
Familiarity with statistical analysis tools and techniques for quality control, such as Statistical Process Control (SPC), Gage R&R.
Strong analytical and problem- solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve quality- related issues effectively.
