Job Purpose
The HR Director is responsible for developing and executing the human resources strategy to support the company’s business objectives in the financial services industry. This role ensures strong governance, regulatory compliance, leadership capability, talent sustainability, and a high- performance culture aligned with risk management and ethical standards.
Key Responsibilities
HR Strategy & Leadership
+ Drive organizational effectiveness, change management, and leadership capability building.
+ Lead and develop the HR leadership team to deliver effective HR services across the organization.
+ Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company’s business strategy and long- term growth.
+ Act as a strategic partner to the CEO and Executive Management Team on people, organization, and culture matters.
Talent Acquisition & Organizational Development:
+ Design and implement succession planning and leadership development programs, particularly for key and regulated positions.
+ Oversee workforce planning, talent acquisition, and employer branding for critical roles.
+ Ensure robust performance management and talent review processes.
+ Build a strong leadership pipeline in line with business and regulatory requirements.
Total Rewards
+ Oversee annual performance appraisal, bonus, and salary review cycles.
+ Ensure fair, competitive, and compliant reward frameworks.
+ Collaborate with Finance and Risk to ensure remuneration policies comply with financial services regulations.
+ Design and govern compensation, benefits aligned with business performance, risk appetite, and regulatory expectations.
HR Operations & Systems
+ Drive process improvements and digitalization of HR systems.
+Ensure accuracy, efficiency, and data integrity across HR operations.
+ Oversee HR operations including payroll, HRIS, employee data management, and reporting.
Employee Relations
+ Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees on HR and people matters.
+ Manage employee relations, disciplinary actions, grievance handling, and dispute resolution.
Learning & Culture
+ Define learning and development strategies to strengthen leadership, technical, and compliance capabilities.
+ Promote a continuous learning culture across the organization.
+ Foster a positive, ethical, and inclusive workplace culture.
+ Ensure mandatory training (e.g., compliance, risk, conduct, and ethics) is effectively implemented and monitored.
+ Lead employee engagement initiatives to enhance retention and productivity.
HR Governance, Compliance & Risk
+ Ensure HR policies, processes, and practices comply with labor laws, regulatory requirements, and internal governance standards.
+ Work closely with Compliance, Risk, and Internal Audit on people- related risk matters.
+ Oversee HR audits, regulatory inspections, and reporting related to human capital.
+ Ensure data privacy and confidentiality in HR operations.
