The Opportunity
We are looking for a Compliance and Legal Assistant to join our Legal and Compliance Department. This role is ideal for candidates with a background in audit or compliance who are eager to build a long- term career in compliance. After a structured training and probationary period, successful candidates will have the opportunity to become full- time staff members of the department.
Key Accountabilities
Collaborate with different departments to address compliance and legal matters effectively.
Undertake other tasks as assigned by management.
Perform legal and regulatory research and contribute to departmental projects and initiatives.
Draft, review, and maintain compliance and legal documentation, including filing, archiving, and timely provision of records when required.
Conduct compliance reviews and support audits to ensure operations comply with laws, internal regulations, and applicable policies.
REQUIREMENTS
Key Selection Criteria
Bachelor’s degree in Law, Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
2–4 years of relevant experience
in:
Internal Audit in corporations (risk, audit, or compliance functions), or
External Audit (e.g., Big4 or other reputable audit firms), or
Compliance/Legal roles in corporations or professional services firms.
High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
Solid understanding of compliance, risk management, and internal control principles.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
English Proficiency
English is the primary language of teaching and communication at VinUniversity. Candidates must have strong written and verbal communication skills in English. The minimum requirement is IELTS (Academic) 6.5 (or equivalent).
