Primary Objectives
As Head of PMO, the role leads the end- to- end governance and delivery of the entire project and product portfolio. The position ensures every initiative aligns perfectly with the Product Committee’s strategic vision, delivers exceptional business value, and meets rigorous standards for quality, timeline, and budget. The Head of PMO establishes and matures a high- performing Project Management Office, defining enterprise standards, processes, tools, and metrics. This role drives AI enablement by identifying transformative AI opportunities, embedding AI into products, and enforcing ethical governance.
Main responsibilities
Project Management
• Collect, analyze data, and assist in setting team objectives and action plans
• Prepare project performance reports, weekly progress updates, and ranking reports
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure projects stay on time, on budget, and meet quality standards
• Provide administrative and operational support to the Head of Operations/Project Director for seamless project execution
• Support documentation and communication of project goals to the team
• Conduct research to identify factors critical to project success
• Monitor project progress using IT systems and flag risks or limitations that may impede delivery
• Handle clerical tasks, schedule meetings, take minutes, and follow up with stakeholders
• Maintain accurate records of schedules, budgets, expenditures, and overall project documentation
• Deliver presentations to team members (e.g., on social media marketing tools and strategies)
• Assist in designing quality review systems and implementing continuous improvement programs
Product Management
• Collaborating with prospective users and stakeholders to understand and anticipate their needs and translate them into product requirements.
• Creating a product road map based on this vision.
• Defining the vision for the team‘s product.
• Developing user stories.
• Overseeing all stages of product creation including design and development.
• Monitoring and evaluating product progress at each stage of the process.
• Managing the product backlog and prioritizing them based on changing requirements.
• Liasing with the product team and end- users to deliver updates.
• Participating in Scrum meetings and product sprints.
Enablement AI- Supported Decision Making
• Collaborate closely with IT, Data, and business leadership to uncover high- impact opportunities for automation, advanced analytics, and AI integration.
• Champion organization- wide data literacy, foster adoption of AI- augmented workflows, and cultivate a culture of experimentation and insights- driven decision making.
• Continuously monitor emerging technologies and trends, proactively recommending and piloting solutions that accelerate business outcomes and competitive advantage.
• Build and deliver the technical infrastructure, platforms, and self- service tools that empower business teams to make faster, evidence- based decisions using data and AI.
