JOB DESCRIPTION

Reinsurance System Implementation for New Products
•Document system workflows and provide training to relevant teams.
•Ensure accurate mapping of treaty terms and conditions into system logic.
• Collaborate with Product Development, IT, and Reinsurers to define reinsurance requirements for new products.
•Coordinate UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and resolve system- related issues.
•Support senior level on the configuration, testing, and deployment of reinsurance modules in the policy administration system.
Annual Reinsurance Review Program
•Identify opportunities for internal process enhancements and external treaty modifications.
•Conduct in- depth analysis of the reinsurance portfolio, including retention levels, treaty utilization, and profitability.
•Support strategic discussions on reinsurance optimization and risk management.
Treaty Management & Documentation
•Assist in drafting, reviewing, and maintaining reinsurance treaties and amendments and execute sign- off process.
•Ensure treaty terms are accurately reflected in systems and operations.
•Liaise with reinsurers to clarify treaty terms and ensure alignment with business needs.
Operational Support & Reporting
•Monitor reinsurance transactions and ensure accurate premium and claim settlements.
•Reconcile reinsurance accounts and support Finance in month- end, quarter- end and/or year- end closing.
•Prepare regular and ad- hoc reports on reinsurance metrics and performance.

REQUIREMENTS

Preferably has experience in financial industry.
Reading skill to skim through and prepare Treaty Addendum
Actuarial working experience is preferable but not compulsory.
Fluently speaking in English to communicate with Reinsurer
Strong communication skill with internal and external stakeholders
Degree holder of any disciplines, (Mathematics/Actuarial Science with good progress in pursuing professional qualifications would be an advantage).
Knowledge on project management is a plus
Prophet experience is a plus.
Data queries languages is a must
Preferably with around 2 actuarial exams/modules passed.
