• Maintaining property grounds
• Maintaining effective preventative maintenance and work order programs through the utilization of electronic systems
• Ensuring key security program is in place and adhered to
• Developing and maintaining positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals, and listening and responding appropriately to the concerns of other employees
• Welcoming and acknowledging all guests according to company standards, anticipating and addressing service needs, and assisting individuals with disabilities
• Ensuring that all life safety equipment and systems are inspected, tested and certified per code and any applicable brand standards
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the work area at all times
• Organizing materials, tools, and equipment to perform daily assignments
• Installing, maintaining, performing preventative maintenance on, and recommending replacement of tools, appliances, and equipment
• Conducting walk- throughs and assessing the safe and efficient maintenance and operation of all mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems and any other related equipment
• Handling chemicals for designated uses/surfaces in accordance with Safety Data Sheets
• Ensuring that all projects, routine maintenance, repairs, and replacement projects are completed in a timely fashion and according to applicable codes
• Following all company and safety and security policies and procedures; reporting maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; and complete safety training and certifications
• Executing on other assigned works from line manager
• Scheduling duty roster in accordance with preventive maintenance program in rooms and public space with all other departments to ensure limited guest impact
• Performing guest response and preventive maintenance work orders as assigned
• Ensuring uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
• Maintaining the proper use, cleaning, maintenance and storage of all tools
• Obtaining and presenting cost effective proposals for maintaining or repairing all systems throughout the hotel
• Supporting Chief Engineer in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating and coaching employees
• Assisting critical situations (fire, natural disasters, major mechanical malfunctions, etc) and performing duties as assigned
