Formulation Development Scientist

Keep abreast of pharmaceutical/ nutraceutical/ cosmetic trends and innovation, proactively make prototypes, communicate with team & stakeholders.
Carry out all necessary formulation development (material preparation, pre- formulation studies, laboratory scale studies, optimization experiments…) to develop products based on the Target Product Profile (TPP), ensure finished products comply with regulatory
Provide technical advice to manufacturing sites or other development centers when appropriate.
Communicate effectively to peers and stakeholders to deliver project deliverables, present data and findings at internal technical /governance meetings, compile and prepare technical reports in relation to project work.
Prepare the registration files- formulation part
Actively propose and engage in scientific collaborations and networks to advance emerging innovative formulation and process opportunities with internal or external stakeholders to build and improve product capabilities.
Perform process transfer & support scale up to industrial batches
The formulation development scientist is responsible for developing and optimizing for pharmaceutical, cosmetics and nutraceutical products.
Fully document all development activities
Ensure Quality & safe working practices are followed.
Plan and regularly follow up projects in term of schedule and budget.

Fluent in English
Good communication and teamwork skills
Knowledge of formulation principles. Experience with multiple dosage forms and design of experiment (DOE) is preferrable
Project management is preferrable
Familiar with regulatory requirements and quality standards
Bachelors in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry or related field.
Good sense of Analysis and synthesis
2+ years in formulation development (pharmaceutical, cosmetic, nutraceutical or related industry)
