The Field Service Engineer provides timely and proper technical service support to Rieckermann Vietnam’s customers. This includes installations, commissioning, training, and preventive maintenance for industrial machinery and digital printing machines.
Technical Service Provide installation, commissioning, training, maintenance, repair and support of industrial equipment and solutions for customers
Job Duties
• Online communication with machine manufactures, customers, an colleagues for technical support and technical clarifications
• Supervision and / or execution of installation commissioning of machinery and plant components according to plans and engineering drawings.
• Corrective and preventive maintenance
• Cooperate and coordinate with team members and other departments, in
• Attend meetings with regards to installations, service matters, technical solutions, and administrative matters of the company
• Perform emergency service at the customer’s site, if needed
• Troubleshoot via phone, email or in person
Reporting Ensure accurate reporting concerning operations and services
rder to offer solutions that fulfill the customer’s needs
• Provide customers with service / installation reports
• Submit service reports and job cards / time sheets to manager
• Gather and report information at customer site regarding process and quality concerns, to create new business opportunities
Spare Parts Recommend spare parts to customers
• Provide information and help customers to upgrade / retrofit their machines (spare parts recommendation)
• Cost- conscious and sensitive handling of spare parts and work equipment
Customer Relationship Develop, establish, and maintain long- term positive relationships with customers
• Train and educate customers to operate & maintain the machine
• Provide excellent service to customers by giving undivided attention and focus on meeting their needs
• Anticipate questions, concerns and future issues and provide solutions,
which will consistently result in repeated business, word of mouth referrals, and increased quality of service providing
• Find solutions to customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
