Job Summary:
To actively and successfully lead and manage the Field Sales team in all commercial and business development logistics matters across Vietnam. This role is responsible for building and executing national sales strategies, developing high- level customer relationships, and supporting APEX’s growth within its global logistics network.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership & Strategy
• Monitor team performance, provide regular coaching and support, and foster a high- performance sales culture.
• Collaborate with upper Management to set short- term and long- term sales objectives and ensure their effective implementation.
• Develop and execute field sales strategies across all regions in Vietnam to achieve revenue, profit, and market share targets.
• Lead, train, and manage a nationwide team of Field Sales Executives; ensure alignment with the company’s business goals and sales KPIs.
Business Development
• Drive market penetration in key sectors by offering customized logistics solutions (airfreight, ocean freight, warehousing, and distribution).
• Identify, approach, and close new business opportunities in the logistics and supply chain industry nationwide.
• Work closely with regional clients including SMEs and multinational corporations to understand and fulfill their logistics needs.
Key Account & Customer Relationship Management
• Attend major customer meetings when necessary and support the team in complex deal negotiations.
• Supervise key account planning and development across the country to maintain and grow strategic client relationships.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention through proactive service and follow- up.
Reporting & Performance Tracking
• Regularly report to upper Management on:
• National sales forecasts and performance metrics
• Financial and operational KPIs linked to client accounts
• Market intelligence and competitor activities
• Customer pipeline and conversion rates
Cross- functional Coordination
• Work closely with internal departments (Customer Service, Operations, Finance, etc.) to ensure seamless implementation of customer solutions and adherence to service commitments.
• Align field sales efforts with company- wide campaigns, pricing strategy, and operational capacity.
Collections & Compliance
• Ensure team compliance with contract terms, company policies, and legal frameworks.
• Oversee and support the team in managing payment follow- ups and ensure timely collections.
