ENGINEERING TEAM LEADER

• Take a daily reading of all utility consumption and prepare energy management plans/ideas
• Lockout power sources/ restore power sources.
• Ensures all workshop and working areas are kept clean, tidy and safe.
• Conduct guest room maintenance in accordance with the preventative maintenance program
• Review the performance of Engineers in accordance with hotel guidelines.
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance and compliance with fire and safety regulations and all municipal, state and federal guidelines.
• Responsible for the operation and installation of all equipment and engineering systems. Oversee the general repair and maintenance of the hotel
• Operate, install and maintain all electrical, mechanical related equipment, HVAC equipment, plumbing and water distribution systems, including steam systems and kitchen equipment.
• Train Engineers in accordance with hotel guidelines.
• Handle guest requests timely
• In addition, other duties may be required as directed by your Manager
• Ensure all equipment is used according to the manufacturers recommendations and ensure all equipment is well maintained and in a good state of repair.
• Calibrate and adjust all gas- fired equipment
• Take full responsible for the performance of departmental activities within the shift, immediately bring to your manager attention any problem arises.
• Perform inspections of operating machinery, pant rooms, systems
• Walk through

Good communication skills, both written and oral.
Minimum 2 years relevant experience in the hospitality industry
Proven knowledge of all aspects of Engineering, including plumbing and electrical, mechanical, etc.
