The Sales Manager- Design & Build Projects will lead the company’s efforts to achieve revenue targets by aggressively acquiring new Design & Build (D&B) contracts. This senior role requires a strategic approach to market penetration, deep construction industry knowledge, and exceptional leadership in managing the entire sales cycle from lead generation to contract finalization.
Strategy & Planning
Market Analysis: Continuously analyze market dynamics, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify new business verticals and geographic expansion opportunities.
Target Setting: Establish challenging yet achievable individual and team sales quotas and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
Sales Strategy Development: Formulate, implement, and manage the annual sales plan, aligning targets and strategies with the company&039;s overall growth objectives for the D&B sector.
Business Development & Execution
High- Level Networking: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision- makers (e.g., Developers, CxOs, Project Owners) and influential partners (e.g., Architects, Consultants).
Key Account Acquisition: Personally lead efforts to target and secure high- value, strategic Design & Build contracts.
Risk Mitigation: Work closely with the Legal and Finance departments to ensure contract terms are favorable and risks are properly managed prior to execution.
Value Presentation: Oversee the development of compelling, technical, and financially sound proposals and lead executive- level client presentations and contract negotiations.
Team Management & Leadership
Sales Leadership: Mentor, motivate, and manage any junior sales staff or business development representatives (if applicable).
Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in the sales process, ensuring high standards for qualification, pipeline management, and CRM data integrity.
Internal Collaboration: Act as the critical link between the Sales, Design, Estimating, and Project Operations teams to ensure seamless transition from contract signing to project commencement.
