Chief Operating Officer

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Collaborate with the marketing team on sales tactics, market development, and client needs to boost revenue and market share.
Effectively manage daily operations, handle concerns quickly, and use reports to track progress.
Develop the factory&039;s strategic plan and ensure successful implementation to achieve targeted objectives.
Collaborate with the finance department to examine financial and management data for decision- making and budgeting purposes.
Ensure sufficient resources, such as labor, equipment, and supplies, for effective industrial operations.
Oversee fish production, quality control, procurement, and logistics to achieve production objectives and maintain operating efficiency.
Coordinate shipping efforts to deliver items on schedule and maintain strong relationships with customs, suppliers, and stakeholders.
Create and implement operational strategies to meet corporate objectives, generate development, and maintain smooth day- to- day operations.
Represent the firm in talks with important stakeholders, fostering positive relationships and supporting the company&039;s interests.
Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for each process to enhance performance, maximize efficiency, and maintain quality standards.
Work with the fishing fleet to ensure raw material procurement aligns with production demands and strategic objectives.

REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to manage cross- functional teams and drive operational excellence.
Excellent strategic planning, analysis, and decision- making abilities.
A bachelor&039;s degree in business administration, operations management, or a similar discipline. MBAs are preferable.
Understanding of industry trends, legislation, and best practices for seafood processing.
Proven experience as a senior leader in the seafood processing business.
Exceptional communication, leadership, and cooperation skills.
