Lead International Sourcing Missions (Outlet, Deal Flash, Treasure Hunt)
– Lead international sourcing missions (e.g. Deal Flash, Outlet, Treasure Hunt) to enrich the category with trend- right and high- margin items
– Consolidate selection with samples, costings, and go/no- go validation with Category & Commercial Directors
– Scout international vendors, fairs, and closeout opportunities aligned with category and margin needs
– Liaise with sourcing teams to evaluate supplier capabilities, MOQ, lead times, and compliance
– Secure proper handover to Sourcing Executive for contract finalization, golden samples, and documentation flow
Own the Category P&L and Deliver Business Objectives
– Define and lead business objectives and category- level targets.
– Track category performance (sales, GM, rotation, pricing, activations) across Offline & Online to meet profitability targets.
– Perform OTB and ensure alignment with financial planning.
Define and Implement Category Strategy for O&O
– Build a category strategy aligned with brand positioning.
– Analyze market trends, customer behavior, competition, and store segmentation.
– Identify assortment gaps and opportunities throughout the year for both Offline and Online (including exclusive or online- specific SKUs).
– Monitor execution of strategy across VM, Trade Plan, In- store, and Online touchpoints.
Drive Assortment and Product Planning
– Input Product for trade Plan exercise per activation
– Manage the assortment selection process timeline compliance (e.g., Range Council)
– Prepare commercial briefs for Sourcing Executive
– Set price architecture (Step- in / Good / Better / Best) using competitors’ benchmark.
– Lead product planning per banner/store: specs, product mix, materials, packaging type, collection themes, and samples.
– Define optimal assortment per channel and store tier (O&O) and exiting strategy for underperforming sku’s (e.g., provisions, etc.)
– Identify opportunities for exclusive designs and product innovation with Sourcing.
