Cage Cashier

Position Summary:
The Cage Cashier is responsible for managing cash transactions within the casino environment. This role involves exchanging currency, chips, and Tito tickets for cash, balancing cash drawers, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have strong numerical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast- paced environment while ensuring compliance with gaming regulations and internal controls.

Maintain and balance a cash drawer, ensuring accurate counts and secure handling.
Handle cash transactions with customers in a prompt and accurate manner.
Exchange currency, chips, and Tito tickets for cash.
Report any discrepancies, unusual transactions, or suspicious activities to the Cage Supervisor.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Participate in regular audits and inventory counts.
Support the Cage Supervisor and other team members as needed.
Collaborate with other cage staff and departments to ensure smooth operations.
Follow all internal controls, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with gaming regulations.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
Adhere to anti- money laundering policies and reporting procedures.
Assist in the preparation of daily reports and reconciliations.

Requirement:

Strong numerical and cash handling skills.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in cash handling or customer service.
High level of integrity and professionalism.
Ability to work in a fast- paced environment.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Knowledge of gaming regulations and compliance requirements preferred.
Flexibility to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
High school diploma or equivalent.
