Business Intern – Rice Export

This position provides hands- on exposure to international trade, market research, and export operations, helping transform daily business activities into insights that support global sales growth. We look for individuals with a global mindset, strong curiosity, and the ambition to grow into future international business professionals who will strengthen the competitiveness and reputation of Vietnamese rice worldwide.
The Business Intern – Rice Export plays a supporting yet meaningful role in the International Sales team, contributing to the mission of elevating Vietnamese rice in the global market.
Key Responsibilities

Assist in collecting and updating market information such as rice prices, target markets, competitors, and customer demand
Support preparation of sales reports, summaries, and basic presentations for internal use
Assist in tracking order status, delivery schedules, and basic export documentation under supervision
Take meeting notes and support follow- up actions after internal or customer meetings
Coordinate with internal departments (Logistics, Supply Chain, Finance) to support order processing and shipment follow- up
Support International Sales Team in daily sales operations related to rice export business
Assist in managing customer data, sales records, and contract- related documents
Perform other tasks as assigned by the International Sales team

Good English communication skills, especially reading and writing
Ability to work at least 4 days per week
Good analytical, organizational, and coordination skills
Good communication skills and willingness to learn
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Strong interest in international business, export, and rice/agricultural commodities
Basic understanding of international trade or export activities is an advantage
Final- year student or fresh graduate majoring in Business Administration, International Business, International Trade, Economics, or related fields

Hands- on exposure to the international rice export business
On- the- job training and mentoring from experienced International Sales professionals
Direct exposure to Olam’s rice production and processing operations at the factory, providing practical understanding of the end- to- end rice value chain
Internship allowance
Opportunity to become a full- time employee after 6 months
