About Otsu Labs
As we expand our presence in Vietnam and Southeast Asia, we are seeking a Business Development / Expansion Partner to lead commercial development and establish strong partnerships with agencies, brands, and studios in the region.
Otsu Labs is a creative production studio specializing in 2D and 3D animation, motion graphics, and design- led storytelling. We collaborate with global and regional brands to deliver high- quality visual content that combines creativity with technical precision.
Role Overview
The position is responsible for driving Otsu Labs’ market entry and growth in Vietnam and Southeast Asia. The ideal candidate will identify new business opportunities, develop strategic partnerships, and manage commercial negotiations in the animation and digital production sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain partnerships with agencies, brands, and production companies.
Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract closure.
Analyze market trends and identify key sectors such as advertising, gaming, and entertainment.
Represent Otsu Labs at industry events and networking activities.
Support the establishment of local operations and recruitment efforts.
Identify co- production and outsourcing opportunities.
Develop and execute market entry and business development plans for Vietnam and SEA.
Qualifications
Proven track record in deal- making and client relationship management.
Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Vietnamese.
Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or client management within the animation, creative, or production industries.
Regional experience across SEA or existing network in advertising, gaming, or entertainment is a plus.
Strong knowledge of Vietnam’s creative and advertising landscape.
Solid understanding of 2D/3D production pipelines and agency workflows.
