Business Analyst (BA)

Job Overview
The Business Analyst (BA) is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and clarifying business and technical requirements for web and application systems, with a strong focus on web UX/UI development.
This role works closely with the Bridge Engineer to ensure requirements are accurately captured and translated into clear, structured specifications for the delivery team.
A solid understanding of web and application security is required to ensure requirements are designed and delivered securely.
In addition to business analysis responsibilities, the BA acts as an Agile PM, driving Agile ceremonies and managing scope, priorities, risks, and dependencies throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Requirement Analysis & Specification
Analyze web UX/UI requirements to ensure usability, logical consistency, and completeness.
Ensure requirements are testable, traceable, and aligned with business objectives.
Break down requirements to support effort estimation and delivery planning.
Translate requirements into clear and structured documentation, including user stories, wireframes, and acceptance criteria.
Incorporate web and application security considerations into functional and technical specifications.
Work closely with the Bridge Engineer to gather, analyze, and clarify business and technical requirements.
Agile Project Management
Monitor sprint progress and proactively address blockers.
Coordinate closely with Product, Design, Engineering, QC, and stakeholders to ensure on- time delivery.
Facilitate communication across cross- functional teams.
Ensure alignment between business expectations and delivery outcomes.
Act as Agile PM, driving sprint planning, daily stand- ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Manage project scope, priorities, risks, and dependencies throughout the project lifecycle.
Other Responsibilities
Participate in product planning and technical discussions to ensure requirement feasibility and clarity.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance delivery efficiency and product quality.
Propose improvements to business analysis processes, documentation standards, and Agile practices.
Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
Support UAT activities and assist stakeholders during requirement validation and acceptance phases.
Qualifications
Good English communication skills (both written and verbal).
Good understanding of web and application security principles.
Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage scope, priorities, risks, and dependencies effectively.
Strong experience in web UX/UI development.
Experience working closely with Bridge Engineers or cross- functional teams.
Proven ability to gather and translate business requirements into structured documentation.
Strong analytical thinking and problem- solving skills.
Hands- on experience driving Agile ceremonies and managing delivery processes.
3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or Agile PM.
Preferred:
Experience applying AI tools to improve business analysis processes and documentation efficiency is a plus.
