For our brand consultancy service, we are looking for a BRAND MANAGER to fully help us build the brand of one of our FMCG local clients, which specializes in BEVERAGES. In this project, we will do everything from scratch: create a business strategy, develop a brand portfolio and product pipeline, brand positioning, and implement brand initiatives with excellence. You’ll work across all levels and departments of the organization to find what makes us unique and communicate it to the world.
_Roles & Responsibilities_
>> Brand & Consumer
• Communication Strategies- Lead consumer research to develop the qualified brand concept, benefit, and claim that addresses consumers’ unmet needs. Execute and review the local communication strategy to support the BOP.
• Consumer Insights – Lead consumer research to identify target consumers’ needs and wants and provide inputs to win local consumers or to the Sector for regional- led projects.
• Media Strategy, Planning and Execution – Create briefs, develop, and manage the execution of Brand media strategies.
• Advertising & Consumer Promotion Budget- Manage the A&P budget for assigned brands.
• Consumer Promotions – Develop and execute Consumer Promotion programs to achieve sales and equity KPIs.
• Communication Material Development – Create briefs, lead creative development, and production of local communication materials to support campaigns. Provide category and/or brand inputs for regionally led campaigns.
• Brand Operating Plan (BOP) – Lead development of sub- brand BOP, provide inputs to the category BOP, and execute strategies and tactics based on approved resources.
>> Product
• Pricing Execution- Develop and execute price increase/decrease plans based on the pricing strategy and BOP.
• Packaging Development- Communicate local packaging requirements in terms of language, government regulations, and labelling laws to the Sector Team. Lead the local execution of regional packaging and country- led products.
• Product Innovations- Provide market- specific consumer insights as inputs to drive the country product innovation plan. Provide management oversight for the launch of product innovations.
>> Business Objective Delivery
• Market Share Targets – Deliver market share targets for the assigned brands.
• Financial Targets- Delivery of the Budget and Target metrics of the assigned brands (e.g., Net Sales, Gross Margins, and Operating Profit).
_Candidate Profile_
We would like to hear from those who have:
Proven ability to develop brand and marketing strategies and communicate recommendations to executives.
Strengths in forward- thinking and analytical skills.
Having good knowledge of brand development and consumer goods industry dynamics.
At least 3- 4 years’ exposure to brand marketing at companies/for brands with strong marketing fundamentals in the FMCG- Beverages industry.
Experience in stakeholder management and collaboration – working with sales, R&D, finance, legal, mill, etc.
You should have a positive and can- do attitude, be level- headed, dependable, and calm under pressure; capable of winning the respect and trust of clients and demonstrating leadership to manage creatives and suppliers.
Professionalism, integrity & transparency.
Proficiency in MS Office, PC- based applications is also necessary.
Data- driven thinking and an affinity for numbers.
Attention to detail and follow- through, great time management, and a multi- tasker.
Strong communications skills in both English and Vietnamese.
An ability to drive innovation and brand growth. Experience in product innovation is a must.
Experience in identifying target audiences and devising effective campaigns.
