The Job Opportunity:
We&039;re seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automation Test Engineer to join our globally distributed quality assurance and engineering teams dedicated to the "Byte by Yum! Commerce Platform." You&039;ll be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining robust automation test frameworks and scripts for our critical e- commerce applications. This role requires a deep technical understanding of modern testing methodologies, a passion for quality, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast- paced, high- transaction volume environment, ensuring exceptional digital experiences for customers worldwide.
Responsibilities
Integrate automated tests into our CI/CD pipeline (e.g. CircleCI), ensuring seamless execution with every code change
Design, organize and maintain test cases, test plans and test data
Design, implement and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile apps built with React and React Native
Review, analyze requirements and specifications to understand project scope and identify potential test scenarios
Maintain and improve existing tests for scalability and reliability
Execute testing for web and mobile apps across various devices and browsers
Promote best practices in test automation and contribute to process improvement
Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and QC peers to ensure high test coverage and fast feedback loops
Monitor automated test runs, triage failures, and log reproducible issues
