Position Overview:
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of bookkeeping principles, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to deliver high- quality financial services to our clients.
Responsibilities:
Review and verify all supporting documents received from clients to ensure accuracy, and compliance with accounting standards.
Prepare payroll reports and process monthly salary payments on behalf of clients.
Contribute to the improvement of accounting processes, systems, and internal controls to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.
Assist in the preparation of financial reports as required by clients
Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Record all accounting transactions accurately and timely in the accounting software.
Participate in discussions and provide explanations to auditors regarding figures presented in the financial statements.
Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies and issues during the preparation of financial reports.
Reconcile key balance sheet accounts (e.g., bank accounts, accounts receivable, accounts payable, accruals).
Qualifications:
Bachelor&039;s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience working in an accounting department or at an accounting practice/firm.
Proficient in Xero accounting software and Employment Hero payroll system, ability to manage transactions and generate reports accurately.
Good English communication skills
Ability to manage deadlines, multi- task.
Good interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate in a team- oriented environment.
Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles, accounting standards (e.g., IFRS), and financial reporting procedures.
Excellent analytical and problem- solving skills.
CPA / ACCA certification or currently pursuing is highly desirable.
