We are looking to hire a Account Manager who’s keen to champion sales development at our new central D1 HCMC headquarters.

What is the key purpose of a Social Sales Manager?

Our unique all- in- one multi- app offers a cloud- based platform that connects users with aggregated daily content featuring the latest news, movies, chat and soon to come hot deals. We also engage with rising stars through our KOL academy and creator community. Due to the company’s rapid growth plans, we are looking for a Sales Manager to build out a high performing sales function.
A Sales Manager is expected to research, identify, engage and close clients, partners and creator deals in order to expand and diversify our business growth. The candidate should be a strong, sales- oriented professional who can source, prospect and structure content marketing deals independently.
We are looking for an outstanding, execution focused and results- driven Sales Manager to work with our senior management and be a significant drive of growth for us in the coming quarters and years. It is this department’s core responsibility to obtain qualified leads, conduct outreach to new leads and prospects, negotiate and close (quality) deals for sponsored creator content, win new clients for our newly formed creative agency – HUSTLE. This is a new business sales role within a new business sales team.

Convey field intelligence to product management teams in regard to development features
Ensure your outbound activity is recorded accurately
Manage presentations, build relationships and negotiate contracts
Interact with the Account Management team to effectively manage client expectations and ensure successful campaign management
Build realistic media plans to assist the advertiser in understanding how they can meet their objectives, goals and CPAs
Independently build a large pipeline of leads, pursue them and close deals.
Understanding of digital technology & revenue ecosystem and explain product benefits within this context
Able to priorities effectively and efficiently without losing sight of the objectives
Accurately forecast new business closure rate and revenue booked
Work closely with your colleagues in the Sales Development team, other Growth Sales Advertising Managers to respond to inbound leads, conduct outbound research and prospecting as well as the Growth team lead and regional director Growth Advertiser Sales, EMEA to consistently achieve and exceed revenue goals.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Work closely with your direct line manager, to take direction, provide updates, feedback, real times forecasts and to consistently achieve and exceed revenue goals

Requirements

Manage a growing portfolio of warm leads (as above)
Qualify and book appointments (clients, partners and KOLs)
A true passion for online advertising and tech , and a strong sales drive with an ability to build relationships
Strong analytical skills to collect business intelligence by conversing with clients and monitoring/identifying trends in data and in generated reports
Excellent written and conversational skills and able to communicate effectively in Vietnamese and English
Self- manage and show maturity
Knowledge or keen interest in performance marketing including industry trends, success measurement, online marketing KPIs and product knowledge
Minimum of 5+ years working in a sales position, preferably at a digital media company
A strong passion and hunger to sell
The will and ability to work in a fast- paced, ever- evolving environment and learn, learn, learn!
Experience in structuring and negotiating deals
Excellent technological skills and ability to quickly learn what is needed to support the campaigns successful implementation and optimization

The ideal candidate:

You have knowledge in providing quick ballparks and accurate estimates, clearly defining the scope and underlying assumptions
Awareness of latest industry developments and trends
You have a knack for digital thinking and constantly research tech trends, demonstrated by your development experience
As a start- up company we expect you to go above and beyond what is required on the JD. Be proactive and embrace challenges as opportunities. There may times occasionally where you may be asked to stay back or come in on weekends
