Wardrobe Staff

Coordinates the costume lab, including tracking of area budget.
Tracks costume rentals.
Attends production meetings for plays to be produced; maintains essential reference binder (known as the ‘costume bible’) for productions. Reads and researches plays to be produced.
Dratis patterns, cuts and constructs costumes for plays produced by the Theater Arts department.
Able to handle high Volume of costume repairs and maintenance
Assists instructors in the instruction of students in costume construction, lab equipment and costume maintenance.
Organizes and maintains costume storage, including the transportation, cleaning and repair of costumes.
Create, sew and make special events costumes if needed in extra events for the theater Works closely with others to ensure a high level of Safety, Service, Show and Efficiency. Provide a safe, efficient, professional, respectful, and courteous culture. Other duties as assigned.
Make fast repairs to any costume pieces on the spot
Purchases materials needed for the costume lab; researches and purchases new equipment for the costume lab; maintains lab equipment.

Required Qualifications & Experience:
- High skill in sewing and working with all types of Material
Portfolio or examples of work proving different sewing techniques and ability to use many different techniques and machines ( surgery machine, basic sewing machine, had sewing, Glue and construction experience)
3- 4 years experience on live shows with intricate costumes
